To Live and Die in L.A. is a cinematographic pearl. William Friedkin (French Connection, The Exorcist, and more recently Bug) gives a disturbed thriller inhabited by a counterfeiter, painter artist, upright but extremely dangerous (a young Willem Dafoe) and by a nutty cop (William Petersen better known today in CSI: Las Vegas).
This movie is a masterpiece.
